The Advance Techo Bursting Strength Tester is designed to find bursting strength of fabric/leather/paper/paper board. The equipment is fitted with a motor driven cam mechanism, which increases fluid displacement on the lower side of the diaphragm at a specified rate. The equipment is fitted with an arrangement, which automatically brings down the pressure and stops the motor on completion of the test cycle. A maximum reading type digital pressure gauge gives the bursting pressure.

Determination of effect of ageing on various physical properties of different materials may be carried out by heating the material under test inside an air oven so that the effects of long term ageing are reproduced within a much shorter duration of time .for this determination, physical properties of the material under test are determined before ageing and ageing the test specimen at the specified temperature for a set duration of time and subsequent to the room temperature before conducting the tests again.

Determination of various physical characteristics of different materials and products at elevated temperature may be carried out by heating the test specimen to the appropriate temperature inside a constant temperature air oven and determining the required characteristics with the specimen kept under the same temperature. For this purpose the equipment needed for conducting the determination can either be kept inside the oven along with the test specimen, or if this is not feasible because of certain constrains, by taken the heated specimen out from the oven and conduction the test in still air within the shortest possible span of time.

Launderometers offered by us comprise a digitally controlled, electrically heated double walled water bath. We use Al stainless steel in manufacturing the inside walls of the bath. Further, the outer walls are manufactured using mild CRCA sheet, which is duly enameled. The heater is used in order to heat the bath. This has a temperature controller device which is controls the temperature of water inside the bath. The temperature is displayed on a digital indicator. During test, the specimens and test solution are kept in stainless steel jars. Furthermore, the jars have rubber seals for avoiding water leakage.

 

A test specimen of the textile together with Blue Wool Standard is exposed under prescribed conditions to the light from an artificial light source. The colour fastness of the specimen is assessed by comparing its performance with that of blue wool fastness standards.
